Mitsubishi is releasing a range of 40 different accessories for its newly
released compact Colt 5-door hatch, a number of which offer additional flexible
storage solutions.
The sporty XLS has a sliding cupholder arrangement, and the entry LS model
will allow this to be fitted between the seats. However, the base to this system
allows the consumer to build up whatever storage system they feel is most
appropriate to their needs.
Options include the one or two sliding cupholders as fitted to the XLS model,
a small, medium or large open storage box, a cushion with pockets, a front
console and storage dome, or the traditional lidded box. The cost varies between
$110.00 and $247.00 plus fitting, depending on which alternative is selected.
These flexible storage solutions fit well with Colt’s overall innovative
packaging. Apart from the normally expected coat hooks and cupholders, Colt also
includes a range of innovative storage items that includes drink bottle holders
in the two front doors, a storage compartment under the front passenger’s seat
cushion that includes hooks for hanging bags, hooks in the back of the front
seats for hanging bags, map pockets in the front doors, and a dash undertray.
Other accessories that are available include bonnet and headlamp protectors,
14” alloy wheels, 6-CD stacker, sports pedal sets, door and tailgate garnishes,
fog lamps and fog lamp protectors, and rear cargo blinds, liners and nets.
