Toyota has extended the “Kakadu” experience with the re-launch of a highly
specified limited edition LandCruiser 100 Series model.
LandCruiser Kakadu is based on the GXL grade with an extended feature list
adding over $2,800 worth of extra value.
Toyota will produce only a limited number of the LandCruiser 100 Series
Kakadu Limited Edition for sale in November/December or until stocks last.
The Kakadu model, first introduced in May, is the highest-specified
LandCruiser limited edition model since the well-remembered Blue Marlin model of
1994.
LandCruiser Kakadu offers the choice of Quad Cam V8 or six-cylinder
Turbo-diesel engines.
Both engines are matched to electronically controlled automatic
transmissions.
Four exterior colours are available: Powder White, Pewter, Gold Metallic and
Ebony.
Prices for LandCruiser Kakadu start at $67,990 recommended retail price* for
the Quad Cam V8 model.
LandCruiser Kakadu is based on the volume-selling GXL grade, with a range of
added exterior and interior features.
The Kakadu limited edition has the additional exterior features of 17-inch
alloy wheels and Kakadu decal.
Additional interior features include leather seat and door trim - in Ivory or
Stone depending on exterior colour choice.
LandCruiser Kakadu also has power-adjustable driver and front passenger’s
seats and power tilt and telescopic steering column adjustment.
Passenger comfort has been improved thanks to the addition of a rear cooler
unit (LandCruiser 100 GXL grade has front air conditioning only).
Comfort items also include adjustable front headrests, driver’s seat lumbar
support and second-row seat centre armrest.
LandCruiser Kakadu also has a cool box in the centre console, seatback
pockets on the driver and front passenger seats, and LandCruiser 100 Series
floor mats.
