Honda Australia, in the midst of its third consecutive record sales year, has
announced price changes to its highly popular CR-V range.
Honda Australia Senior Director Lindsay Smalley said, “In January this year
we added greater value, thanks to a combination of additional equipment and the
abolition of tariffs on our Thai produced cars, (the Civic sedan and Accord),
resulting in another record sales year. And to continue the momentum we have
re-aligned the prices of our CR-V range and passed on the benefits of the strong
Australian dollar – Japanese Yen exchange rate to consumers, offering even
greater affordability across all CR-V models”.
In October 2004 Honda Australia upgraded the specification of the 05YM CR-V
range with the addition of a five speed automatic transmission, bigger wheels,
tyres and brakes, new colours and upgrades to the audio system, instrument
panel, security system and cruise control on all models.
The CR-V’s off-road performance was also enhanced thanks to improvements to
Honda’s Real-Time 4WD system and safety was given a boost with the inclusion of
side airbags on CR-V Sport models.
