Suzuki Australia Appoints New Managing Director

Suzuki Australia today announced the appointment of Mr. Takeshi Hayasaki to the position of Managing Director.

Mr. Hayasaki has a long history with the Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan, joining the company in 1981.

During his 25 year tenure, Mr Hayasaki has played a pivotal role in the product planning, sales and marketing of Suzuki motor products in the North America, Japanese and European markets.

His varied responsibilities have included, Assistant to the President of Suzuki Canada, Controller of Sales and Marketing for Motorcycle, ATV and Outboard motor for Suzuki Canada, Assistant Manager for European Motorcycle Sales Group and Assistant to the President American Suzuki Motor Corporation.

For the last fours years, Mr. Hayasaki has held the role of Manager of the Motorcycle Planning Group at Suzuki Motor Corporation head office, in Hamamatsu, Japan.

Drawing on his experience and expertise Mr Hayasaki will now turn his attention to maximising opportunities in Australia for the Japanese manufacturer.

Mr. Hayasaki takes over the position of Managing Director from Mr. Koichi Takizawa, who has returned to Japan after 5 years of service to take a new role with the Suzuki Motor Corporation.
