Suzuki Australia has added an exciting new addition to the popular Grand Vitara
product range with the launch of the Grand Vitara 'Prestige'
The 'Prestige' model provides an excellent value alternative for customers in
the market for a luxury SUV with the power of a V6 engine.
The 'Prestige' is an extension of the all new Grand Vitara range launched in
August of last year and compliments the existing variants which include the
sporty 3 door with 1.6 litre engine and the 5 door variants available in a gutsy
2.0L engine and powerful 2.7litre V6 engine.
The 'Prestige' will be a higher specification model of the V6 in automatic
transmission and boasts luxury features, as standard, including cruise control,
leather steering wheel, leather upholstery and leather door panel trims, 6 disc
in-dash CD stereo with MP3 capabilities, speed sensing volume control as well as
7 speakers including subwoofer.
The bold and aggressive front face and sleek distinctive styling of the Grand
Vitara exterior is further emphasised with the 'Prestige' model as it includes
low profile tyres, 17 inch alloy rims and fog lamps.
With an already extensive list of active safety features, the addition of
side and curtain airbags to ABS with EBD, dual front SRS airbags, pre-tensioners
and force limiters on front seatbelts and 3 point ELR rear seat belts ensures
safety is kept to a premium.
Perhaps the most unique feature of the Grand Vitara 'Prestige' is the keyless
start function, allowing the driver to remotely unlock and start the engine with
the push of a button, the only model compact SUV in Australia offering this as
standard.
When all these features are combined with the standard equipment of the base
model 2.7L V6 engine, such as ABS with EBD, dual SRS front air bags, remote
