With an increasing number of connections required for running auxiliary equipment on 4WD’s, caravans, campervans etc., there is an ever-present risk of dangerous short circuits amongst the clutter.

To overcome this danger and tidy up these messy connections, Projecta has introduced a Battery Distribution Terminal which neatly converts the positive battery post into three outlets with fused protection.

Available in a range of fuse options from 30 to 250AMP, the distribution terminal comes complete with a fully insulated snap-on cap, providing further protection from short circuits.

Where a heavy load such as a starter motor or winch is used, a specially designed fuse with 150A continuous and 800A peak load can be used.

Within the distribution terminal, three fused outlets make it safe and easy to install dual battery systems or other auxiliary cables. 1

“We are sometimes surprised at the dangerous and untidy connections people make to the batteries on their vehicles without realising the dangers that they present,” said George Davies, National Sales & Marketing Manager for Projecta. “The new Projecta distribution terminal is simple, neat and much safer for all concerned and comes at a price that makes it a must have to provide peace of mind,” he said.

The Projecta battery distribution terminal is available under part No.BT950-P1 from leading automotive outlets throughout Australia
