Nissan’s international Foria concept vehicle, designed to provide premium
performance, quality and elegance, will feature as the highlight on the Nissan
Stand at the 2006 Australian International Motor Show.
Conceived by Nissan’s international design studio, the Foria is a compact
sports coupe concept designed to make driving a pleasure while ensuring the
quality of elegant styling is maintained.
Powered by a mid-sized engine teamed with a paddle-shift automatic
transmission, the Foria combines agile city driving with fully engaging
performance on open roads. The four-wheel Active Steer system ensures precision
steering in all driving conditions.
The front-engine, rear-drive layout allows an exceptionally short front
overhang, long hood and compact cabin. These styling features, together with the
neatly styled rear and 18-inch wheels positioned at the four corners, result in
a car that is not only pleasing to look at but also promises driving pleasure.
Exterior styling combines sporty curves with elegant lines. The integrated
grille and headlamps form a powerful front face, combining precision technology
and jewel-like quality. A horizontal body-line motif along the sides conveys a
sophisticated image.
The Foria’s design team delivered a true 2+2 coupe. Centre opening
B-pillarless doors ensure the large aperture provides easy access to the rear
despite the sporty position of the front seats.
The interior design reinforces the car’s dynamic potential while maintaining
high quality. The control switches on the center stack and the mechanical
instruments are visually pleasing, while the elegance continues with crafted
interior materials.
The Foria will be on display at the Nissan stand in Hall 3 - Sydney
Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 26th through to November 5th.
