Melbourne – Limited numbers of the C 180 Kompressor Super Sport Edition
are now available for sale.
The Super Sport Edition of the ever-popular C 180 Kompressor boasts an
impressive list of additional comfort and sports-oriented features for the
attractive price of $58,990 RRP*. Some six years after its Australian debut, the
fast-selling Mercedes-Benz C 180 Kompressor sedan offers these features at no
extra charge. Limited production volume, however, means demand is expected to be
high for the Super Sport Edition.
This limited retail offer includes an extra $7,780 worth of value (on top of
previous C 180K Classic with Sport Package as standard) for no increase in the
recommended retail price of $58,990, clearly representing immense value.
In addition to the comprehensive list of standard features, this new retail
offer is in addition to the previous product offer on C 180 Kompressor sedans,
where the Sports Package was offered as standard equipment.
For no extra cost, the Super Sport Edition adds the following equipment on
top of the popular C-Class Sports Package:
- 17" light-alloy wheels, 6 spoke design in sterling silver finish
- 5-Speed automatic transmission with TOUCHSHIFT (manual transmission not
available)
- AMG body styling consisting of front apron, rear apron and side skirts
- Glass sliding electric sunroof with lifter
- Bi-Xenon headlamps with dynamic range adjustment and headlamp cleaning
system
- Front radiator grille in silver with chrome trim (from Elegance model-line)
- Aluminium-finish interior trim appointments
- Metallic paint, available in 3 colours: Cubanite Silver, Diamond Black or
Iridium Silver
- Silver instrument dials with white instrument lighting
- “Sport Edition” badges on front rub strips, left and right
- Black velour floor mats with “Sport Edition” badges
The following equipment, previously fitted as standard with Sports Package,
is inclusive in the Super Sport Edition:
- Black ARTICO upholstery
- Larger perforated front discs and silver brake callipers with black
“Mercedes-Benz” lettering
- Polished stainless steel oval exhaust pipe
- Leather trimmed gear shift lever with aluminium finish shift knob
- Leather multifunction steering wheel in ergonomic three spoke design
- Brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs
- Sports seats for the driver and front passenger
- Lowered sport suspension
The supercharged sedan also boasts the usual array of safety and security
features the German car maker is famous for and further enhances the engaging
driving experience of the C 180 Kompressor.

The C 180K Super Sports Edition represents a rare opportunity in the
hotly-contested medium-sized over $55,000 segment, which grew almost 13 percent
last year.
