Suzuki Australia is confident of another record-breaking
month after notching unprecedented sales over the weekend.
Suzuki Australia Automotive General Manager Tony Devers said
dealerships around the country had been swamped by customers taking advantage of
the Sensational Suzuki Saturday sale.
“Reports from all our dealers have us very confident of June
being another record-breaking month for Suzuki.
“Suzuki sales have increased for the past four years and 2007
is on track to be our best ever.
“We set an aggressive target of 21,000 vehicles for the year
and on our current figures we are on course to achieve that goal.”
Devers said excellent value was still available for a variety
of Suzuki models.
“The Liana offers fantastic value with a drive away price of
just $18,888, while the limited edition Jimny Sport makes that car even more
attractive fitted with $2000 worth of extras.
“Our popular Grand Vitara compact SUV is also available in a
limited edition ‘Trekker’ version, which includes more than $3000 of extras on
both the three-door and five-door variants.* However they are selling fast and
this offer will not be extended once the final 200 units are sold.
“And any customer who purchases a Suzuki Swift between now and
the end of August will be eligible to win $5000, as part of our Suzuki Swifts
netball promotion,” said Devers.
Suzuki Australia recorded one of its best sales results in May
and total sales are up 40 per cent on the 2006 figure, which was a record for
the company.
