The newest addition to the Lukey team – the Lukey Performance Ute – has become
quite the attraction since making its debut at the AAAA Trade Show in June.
In fact, it’s become so popular that Lukey has decided to take it on a tour
of the country over the next 12 months, starting in Queensland.
The V8 powered, VZ Commodore SS ute, which has an innovative case in the tray
to display a range of Lukey performance products and their unique exhaust growl
sounds, has been fitted with a 3” Lukey Super System to give it the iconic Lukey
“growl”.
Other additions include a Lukey Performance Filter and personalised Lukey
plates.
Aftermarket Director for Tenneco, Roger Lassen said the Lukey Performance Ute
was designed to personify the Lukey brand and provide a feature at trade shows
and promotional events.
“The purpose of this car is to showcase our product offering and really
define the Lukey brand,” Roger said.
“By taking the ute on a tour of Australia, enthusiasts can get up close and
see exactly how the Lukey products can be applied – and just how much they can
get out of their car.
“Once you see the Lukey Ute – you’ll definitely want to fit out your own car
with Lukey products!”
The Lukey Performance Ute will next be on display at the Carline Mufflers
Powercruise #10 in Redbank, Queensland from September 6 to 11, before the
Performance Car Mania in Winton from September 21 – 23.
It will then make its way to South Australia for the Capricorn Society
Limited Dinner on October 27th.
It’s first appearance next year will be at the Motivation Car Show in Western
Australia in January.
