Honda has toppled Toyota to become America’s most reliable car brand,
according to a survey by influential U.S. consumer magazine Consumer Reports.
Consumer Reports magazine surveyed its subscribers and compiled information
on almost 1.3 million vehicles to find the average predicted reliability rating
for all models sold by each brand.
Second on the reliability list was Acura, Honda’s luxury division, giving the
Japanese car maker the top-two spots. In third place was Scion, then Subaru in
fourth and Toyota in fifth.
Consumer Reports is published by the Consumers Union, independent non-profit
organization. The magazine accepts no paid advertising.
