Audi Australia has been awarded silver and bronze medals at the 2007
Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA) Awards.
The Audi S3 ‘Not for Everyone’ campaign was awarded a silver medal in the
“Effectiveness” category and bronze in both the “Creative - standard direct
mail” and “Creative - websites” categories. Audi is the only premium car
manufacturer to receive an award from ADMA in 2007.
Audi Australia’s Managing Director, Mr Joerg Hofmann, said the Award is
recognition that Audi’s reputation for innovation goes beyond the model range,
into all areas of the business.
“The Audi S3 direct mail campaign was targeted and successful as evidenced
not only by vehicle sales, but also by the Award for Effectiveness from
ADMA.” The Audi S3 campaign yielded impressive results including response
rates nine times higher than the campaign’s targets. Judging criteria in the
effectiveness and creative categories included – creativity, craft, strategy,
idea and measurement, tracking analysis and reporting.
ADMA is Australia's principal body for information-based marketing. Formed in
1966, ADMA has evolved to become the nation's pre-eminent marketing association
representing over 500 member organisations.
