attributes of Audi's revolutionary quattro four-wheel-drive technology are the focus of a
new campaign launched by Audi this week.
To coincide with the "quattro campaign", and to bring the benefits of quattro
within closer reach of customers. Audi has also launched a special finance offer on all
quattro models, starting with the potent manual A4 1.8-litre Turbo quattro at just \$199
The quattro campaign, which will run throughout the winter months of June. July and
August, features the benefits of Audi's quattro drivetrain, considered to be one of the
foremost active safety systems offered by a vehicle manufacturer.
Synonymous with Audi, quattro is available on the Audi A4, A6 and A8.
Audi quattro technology means that all four wheels are driving the vehicle at once, which
gives better grip for a safer journey and superior handling for an exhilarating ride.
Matthias Seidl, managing director of Audi in Australia, said the physical demonstration of
the quattro concept can be a jaw-dropping experience in particular for people used to
rear-wheel-driven cars. The need for customer education about quattro was the driving
force behind the development of Audi's new campaign.
"Audi quattro continues to be regarded as one of the most advanced active safety
systems available because the car actually 'thinks' around corners, on slippery or wet
roads and even over sand or gravel," Mr Seidl said.
"Because it fulfils a proactive function, quattro could be considered safer even than
airbags, because quattro four-wheel-drive technology helps you avoid an accident. Airbags
are only useful once an accident has occurred. Audi vehicles naturally come equipped with

The preferential-rate finance package designed for the quattro campaign has been
co-ordinated via the soon-to-be-launched Audi-branded finance division.

\$2,400.00 on the brilliant Audi A4 1.8-litre Turbo quattro manual to assist our customers
