Toyota has launched a new alloy wheel design for its Camry and Vienta models.
The new wheel expands the Toyota Genuine Accessory alloy range for Camry and Vienta to four unique designs, to meet the market's increasing.demand for vehicle custom isation.
The new 16" and 17" diameter, aggressively styled six-spoke alloy "Camry GTP" wheels can be fitted to all Camry and Vienta models.
The new hi-tech style alloy wheels feature a bright silver gloss finish and are machined with six wide spokes that enhance the look of lightweight racing wheels.
They also allow Camry owners to fit lower profile tyres for motorsport-inspired handling performance, and give the Camry a low, wide stance on the road.
The Camry GTP alloy wheels are developed with the performance driving enthusiast in mind.
For those who prefer individual styling without the motorsport edge, three other styles of Toyota Genuine alloy wheels are available for Camry.
The first is a uniquely styled alloy wheel in 14 and 15 inch variants for both 4 cylinder and V6 models. The 15 inch variant of these wheels can also be fitted to 4 cylinder models with the fitment of new 15 inch tyres
V6 Camry owners can also upgrade to two other alloy wheel designs which are specified as standard equipment for Vienta VXi and Grande.
The introduction of the new Toyota Genuine alloy wheel for Camry and Vienta is a response to increased market demands, according to Toyota's Rory Macdougall.
"The demand for Genuine Accessory alloy wheels for Camry, since its launch in late 1997, has exceeded Toyota's expectations," Mr Macdougall said.
"The expanded alloy wheel range now offers current and prospective Camry owners a wider choice, which is competitively priced compared to non-genuine aftermarket wheels.
"Prospective buyers also have the convenience of being able to choose from a range of factory-backed, accessory alloy wheels without having to go to the local wheel and tyre retailer."
The Camry Genuine Accessory alloy wheel range is available from Toyota dealers Australia-wide.
Toyota Genuine Accessory alloy wheels have been subjected to rigorous testing to Toyota's high internal standards and to the relevant Australian Design Rules, not always a feature of aftermarket products.
The wheels are covered by Toyota's three year/l00,000 kilometre accessory warranty when fitted at the time of purchase of a new vehicle. (All Toyota or factory warranties are additional to the warranties imposed by the Trade Practices Act.)
