Subaru is once again backing The White Circus, Australias premier snow sports television program. The White Circus traces the skiing and snowboarding World Cup circuits through the resorts of Central Europe, Scandinavia, USA, Canada, Korea and Japan. It goes to air on C7 Sport, Channel 7s cable network, three evenings per week, Fridays Saturdays and Sundays, at 10:00pm. The program is distributed on both Optus Vision and Austar. The program commenced in season 1998/1999, and enjoyed great commercial success in its first year. The White Circus was awarded the Best Electronic Media Contribution Award at the annual Skiing Australia Awards night in August of this year. Zali Steggall, Zeke Steggall, Jacqui Cooper, Adrian Costa and AJ Bear are just some of the Australians you can follow on The White Circus. Commentators Steven Lee and Ian Chesterman bring you the very best of the alpine, freestyle, ski jumping and snowboarding World Cups from around the globe, through the support of Subaru. In season 1999/2000, The White Circus runs through until the middle of September 2000, concluding just prior to the Olympic Games. Our market research shows that many Subaru drivers ski as their number one leisure and sporting activity, said Subaru marketing manager, Nick Senior. I suppose that is not surprising when you think of the benefits that the Subaru All-Wheel Drive system offers people who like to pursue outdoor activities who often find themselves driving in slippery or snowy conditions. The action on The White Circus is the best winter sports action from around the globe. When youre sweltering back here in Australia in summer its great to be able to turn on the television and watch the winter wonderland. We reckon our cars provide a perfect escape into the great outdoors. The White Circus also allows you to escape when you really are stuck at home. The White Circus is proud to have Subaru as its presenting sponsor for a second year. Subaru, All-Wheel Drive, is the ideal car for skiers and those looking to enjoy the best of the great outdoors.
