New Audi Showroom for Brighton

11 December, 2000

A multi-million dollar Audi showroom facility will open in Brighton next week.

When it opens for business, the impressive new International Audi design concept, located at 182 Brighton Road, Elsternwick will represent one of Audi’s largest and most strategically important regional prime market areas in Melbourne.

Boasting what could be considered some of the most high-profile real estate in Melbourne the dealership facility is modeled on Audi’s international showroom concept and follows the company’s “One name. One standard. Everywhere” design philosophy.

The dealership is a representation of 1 of the several new international-style showrooms planned by Audi as part of a major modernisation and expansion of its Australian retail network.

The Elsternwick Showroom is an adaptation of Audi’s international dealership design, featuring the familiar glass and aluminum architecture that is characteristic of the Bavarian prestige marque.

Dealer principal, Mr Julian Goglia believes the new showroom will have a distinct visual appeal that will further increase public awareness of this fine prestige marque. The official opening on the 13th December, 2000 by Cr Veronika Martens, Mayor of The City of Glen Eira and Mr C.K.Liew, CEO of Audi in Australia will signal an exciting future for Audi in this Region.

Anthony Wong, Audi’s Regional Manager for Melbourne, said the company’s dealership expansion and modernisation plans herald a shift in policy towards appointing fewer dealers, in better locations, operating from optimised environments.

The bulk of Audi’s planned dealer network expansion in Australia is due to be finalised by 2001.
