Best November sales since 1972
With the release of November VFACTS figures today Holden continued the sales momentum generated through the year, achieving the company's highest total sales for the month since 1972.
Holden November sales of 14,860 vehicles were boasted by the release of the VX Commodore, which saw Australia's best selling car record its highest ever November sales result (8,621 units).
Commodore sales were supported by a strong four cylinder range performance, with the best November since 1985.
The luxury Statesman/Caprice continued to perfomi well with year to date combined sales (5,764) doubling that of Ford Fairlane/LTD.
Holden Executive Director Sales and Marketing, Mr Ross McKenzie said that the sales results were a reflection of Holden's strong product range.
"With the market in a buoyant position, we intend to maintain the sales momentum across our product range. December is always a good month for Holden and we are looking to a very strong finish, that reflects our consistent performance year to date. Holden will continue to aim at market leadership," he said.
