Volvo Car Australia today announced an association with leading Australian fashion designer, Lisa Ho, who will act as an ambassador for the brand. Lisa who until now has been driving other European cars was keen to make the switch to Volvo. Lisa commented: “I first drove a Volvo in America when I was over there on business. I haven’t looked back since.”
Lisa, who will be driving a new black Volvo S80 said: “The S80 is a perfect choice for me. It represents style and individuality and does not compromise on safety, which is important when you have three young children.
“What really impressed me was the spacious back seat area that comes with an integrated booster seat for extra safety for my children.”
Since launching her fashion label in 1982, Lisa Ho has become one of Australia’s most renowned fashion designers. Contributing to her international success is Lisa’s ability to observe modern lives and create an exquisite mix of slick and sensual garments that an individual can piece together in their own way across a complete wardrobe.
Lisa, who recently unveiled her Spring/Summer collection, will join in a number of Volvo events throughout next year. Volvo Car Australia Managing Director, Mr Richard Snjiders expressed his delight with the partnership: “Lisa Ho is a dynamic and successful business woman, a wife and mother and someone who appreciates design and quality. Lisa Ho will be a great ambassador for the Volvo brand.”
