J. D. Power and Associates 2001 Initial Quality Study has placed Toyota Corolla, hybrid-powered Toyota Prius and Toyota Echo one-two-three in its compact car category.

The 2001 IQS study results were based on more than 54,000 new vehicle owners and lessees surveyed after 90 days of ownership.
