Manufactured from 304-grade stainless steel, Lukey Tips will not flake, rust or tarnish as comparable chrome-finished products will, and do not require constant maintenance to retain their shine.
“Chrome has a different heat expansion rate to the metal used in making tips, which means the chrome finish will break away from the metal over time,” said Graham Pyne, Walker Australia’s Product Manager.
“Because Lukey Tips are made from 304 stainless steel, there is no coating to deteriorate so the desirable highly-polished finish lasts for years and years.”
All Lukey Tips have been re-engineered to increase the durability demanded by the Australian market and are competitively priced against the chrome competition.
“The wide range of designs and high product quality have help our Lukey Tips become an extremely popular product,” said Graham.
“A lot of people with show cars started fitting them to their vehicles and word of mouth quickly spread,” he said.
“We realised we were onto something and we now offer a range of numerous designs to suit all common pipe diameters.”
