Proton has revised its entry level Satria GLi with a revised price of just $14,990 and a value for money package making it one of the best value cars on the market.
The revised Satria GLi features a 1.5 litre engine, air conditioning, CD /AM/FM audio system, power steering, power windows and remote control central locking.
Satria GLi buyers also receive the benefit of 24-hour roadside assistance and Protons three year 1 million kilometre warranty reinforcing the value for money package.
According to Proton Cars Australia¹s general manager John Startari the package means the Satria offers the best value in small hatchbacks on the market.
"With a reputation for strong reliability and low running costs there is no better value for money in this sector of the market," said John Startari. "The inclusion of a 1.5 litre engine in our entry level Satria puts us on an equal footing with other cars in the sector but the package of standard features puts us well ahead on value," he added.
The Satria GLis four cylinder, 1.5L, SOHC, fuel injected 12-valve engine generates its maximum torque of 120Nm at just 3000rpm translating into stronger throttle response for everyday driving.
It is coupled to a five speed manual gearbox or an optional four speed automatic.
The Satria also has a tight 4.8m turning circle making it highly manoeuvrable in city traffic.
Protons are available through a network of 32 dealers nationwide with additional sales and service outlets to provide the highest levels of back up.
