Proton has spiced up its Satria GTi with a special limited edition package that enhances the performance and creature comforts of the popular hot hatch.

The Satria GTi LE will feature $3500 worth of performance improvements and luxury inclusions to enhance the GTi package.

The GTi LE features a full leather interior for increased luxury and comfort.

It also features cross-drilled and slotted brake rotors front and rear to enhance the Proton's already outstanding stopping power

A new rear mid mounted spoiler has been included to improve downforce and high speed stability .

GTi LE will display special numbered Limited Edition badging and will retail for $29490.

According to Proton Cars Australia general manager John Startari the GTi LE delivers represents incredible value in the hot hatch market.

The GTi is already tremendous value but with $3500 worth of extras for just $1500 over the normal GTi price the LE is exceptional," he said.

"We have had a lot of feedback from owners and potential buyers desiring a more luxurious interior and the LE meets that demand," said Mr Startari.

"The increased braking performance and new rear spoiler deliver real performance benefits to put the GTi ahead of its opponents in the hot hatch market," he added.

The Satria GTi is powered by a 1.8 litre twin cam 16 valve engine producing 103kWs of power at 6000rpm and 164Nm of torque at 5500rpm.

The Satria GTi accelerates from 0-100kmh in 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 210km/h.

The Satria GTi benefits from the engineering and suspension tuning expertise of famous British company Lotus, a subsidiary of Proton Cars.

All Protons sold in Australia are covered by a 3 year/1 million kilometre warranty, 24 hour roadside assistance and a 1800 customer help line.

Protons are available through the network of Proton dealers around the country, as well as the Proton Cars Direct Showcase outlets
