Visit your nearest Volkswagen dealer before 31 December and - as part of Volkswagenfest 2002 grab a great deal on selected Volkswagen models.
For example on selected Passat models, Volkswagen is offering free on-road costs across the board unusually fleet, government and rental buyers can take advantage of this offer which includes free registration, stamp duty and CTP (where applicable).
Selected New Beetle models offer even more free on-roads plus a free boot lid spoiler and alloy wheels (15 inch wheels on 1.6 Beetles and 16 inch alloy wheels on the rest except 1.8-litre turbo models which of course already have alloy wheels). The New Beetle offers exclude fleet, government and rental buyers.
Volkswagens Golf gets extra value as well with 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre S models coming with over $2500 worth of extras for only an additional $500. This includes alloy wheels, a 10-stacker CD sound system and remote central locking.
SE model Golfs (1.6-litre and 2.0-litre) gain the 10-stacker CD system at no extra cost. Fleet, government or rental car buyers are not entitled to take advantage of this Golf offer.
Announcing Volkswagenfest 2002, Volkswagen Group Australias Managing Director, Mr Peter Nochar, said: "Were heading into the Festive Season and we would like our Australian Volkswagen Dealers to get into the spirit early so we can jointly sprint across the 2002 finish line on 31 December".
