And Now With No On-Road Costs
Family transport does not come at any better value than the Kia Carnival,
with the full size seven seat, V6 powered fully equipped people mover back
at the $29,990 price at which it was launched four years ago and now it
also has had the burden of on-road costs cut from the price.
"The Kia Carnival re-wrote the people mover rule book when it was launched
four years ago," says Edward Butler, Kia National Sales Manager. "For the
first time it gave Australian families the versatility, comfort and space
of a full size people mover at a price they could afford, unlike other
people movers which sat in the prestige car price bracket. Australian
families have responded in their thousands, making the Carnival the most
popular people mover in Australia for private family purchases."
"We want to keep the Carnival the most popular people mover for Australian
families who have to spend their own money on transport, so for a limited
time not only have taken the 2003 Carnival back to the original Carnival
launch price of $29,990, we have cut on road costs, making the Carnival
even more affordable."
The Carnival may once again be at $29,990, but it is a better equipped
vehicle than the original Carnival with the ultimate people mover
advantage, sliding removable seats standard equipment. This means that the
Carnival's cavernous interior may be adjusted to the differing needs of
family transport and not just by changing the ratio of luggage space to
seats. Removing individual seats means that the shape of the load space may
be altered to meet changing family needs, whether it's bikes or camping
gear, shopping or toys.
With a strong 2.5 litre V6 engine under the bonnet, there is no shortage of
power to keep the family on the move. There is a CD player to keep them
entertained, a split front to rear AirCon system to keep them comfortable
and power windows, locks, mirrors and steering to make driving easy.
