The Sydney Motor Show has just closed, but a new and successful chapter in the History of Daihatsu is opening. In the words of Wayne Gabriel, Manager for Daihatsu: "our aggressive plans in Marketing and the arrival of Copen mean that we now also truly grasp some great opportunities for differentiation, some great ways for people to realise that there is something more about this Brand, we are not just another small car maker".
Never before had so much interest been generated about Daihatsu: record number of enquiries especially on the newborn Copen and a very crowded stand are proof of the fact that Daihatsu truly is on a path to the brand's Renaissance.
Sophie Monk is the first customer for Copen in Australia and has been driving Daihatsu ever since she got her first car. At Daihatsu we are all charmed by her enthusiasm and dedication, by the way in which she embraces every new mission with passion and vitality. "Sophie is an outstanding representative of the type of customer Daihatsu is relentlessly seeking: dynamic, competent, altruistic and well aware of the value of their work as well as the value of the environment. I am convinced that our association represents yet another important step in the growth of Daihatsu. Our long and respected history of quality and functionality as well as value for money if finally being fully recognised."
