Bentley Motors of Crewe, Cheshire has announced today that a new State Car is to be built to celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of the Accession of The Queen in 2002. This unique Bentley, a gift to The Sovereign from the Company will be designed, developed and built at the Bentley Motors factory in Crewe.

More than twenty leading British suppliers to the company will be contributing their skills and materials to this project. Whilst the monocoque of the vehicle will be exclusive, the underlying platform will be taken from the Bentley Arnage Red Label.
