BMW has further enhanced the comprehensive warranty for buyers of a BMW Premium
Selection used vehicle with Service Inclusive, an industry-first initiative that
guarantees a minimum of one complimentary service for every 12 months (or 25,000
km) of the selected warranty period.
This means that a BMW Premium Selection vehicle, which comes standard with
12-months factory warranty and BMW Roadside Assistance, will now receive a
minimum of one complimentary service within 12 months (or 25,000 km).
Customers can opt to take out either a 12 or 24 month extension. A 24 month
extension would give customers 36 months of BMW warranty, 36 months of roadside
assistance and 36 months/(or 75,000km) complimentary scheduled servicing (which
guarantees a minimum of 3 scheduled services)
The inclusion of complimentary scheduled servicing now provides customers
with even more peace of mind by ensuring the vehicle is fully maintained and
kept in peak operating condition by factory-trained BMW technicians at
authorised BMW dealers.
“BMW is the first company in Australia to offer such comprehensive benefits
on used cars,” says Mark Henham, Manager of Used Vehicles at BMW Group
Australia.
BMW Premium Selection BMWs are available across the complete model range,
including 1 Series, 3 Series and 5 Series models, as well as the BMW Z3 and Z4
Roadster and Coupe, and X3 and X5 Sports Activity Vehicles.
In addition, customers who now purchase a 6 Series under the BMW Premium
Selection programme will enjoy the same benefits as 7 Series customers. The BMW
Premium Selection Platinum package comes complete with 24-month factory
warranty, BMW Roadside Assistance and two complimentary scheduled services
within the 24-month (or 50,000 km) warranty period.
The purchaser of a BMW Premium Selection 6 Series or 7 Series BMW can also
opt to take out an extension on the BMW Premium Selection Platinum package
giving a total of 36 months cover. This includes 36-month factory warranty, BMW
Roadside Assist and three complimentary scheduled services within the 36-month
(or 75,000 km) warranty period.
“The introduction of Service Inclusive ensures that BMW Premium Selection
used vehicles remain the most extensive used car programme in Australia,” said
Mark Henham.
BMWs offered through BMW Premium Selection need to adhere to strict selection
criteria, and are required to pass a rigorous 100-point inspection including
verification of a full BMW service history while meeting various other criteria,
such as ensuring any parts and accessories are genuine BMW factory items
installed by authorised BMW dealers.
Age and km restrictions do apply to BMW Premium Selection used cars.
