Honda will release special edition models of Australia’s No.1 four-wheel drive –the CR-V – on April 1.
For a limited time, the Honda CR-V Classic and CR-V Sport Classic will be sold with extras valued at $2,500 at a reduced cost.
The CR-V Classic adds an in-dash CD player, alloy wheels, roof rack, hard spare wheel cover with stainless steel lockable ring and Classic decal to an already long list of standard equipment, including dual SRS airbags, air-conditioning, power windows and mirrors, double wishbone suspension and remote central locking.
CR-V Classic prices begin at $33,490 for the 5-speed manual.
Honda has equipped the CR-V Classic Sport with a 6 in-dash CD player, side step set, cross bar set, X-bar foot set, luggage cover and Classic decal. Standard features include ABS, alloy wheels, sunroof, hard spare wheel cover and body coloured bumpers and mirrors.
CR-V Classic Sport prices start from $37,990 with manual transmission.
Honda Australia Director Sales & Marketing Tony Devers said the accessories added further value to the CR-V’s extensive list of standard features.
“Since 1997, the CR-V has dominated the all-terrain market, thanks to benefits such as quality, technology, value and thoughtful design,” he said. “This promotion is designed to further enhance these values.”
The limited edition CR-V goes on sale across Australia for three months beginning April 1.
