Kia is not resting on the success of making
the Kia Carnival the most popular people mover in Australia, with its
Australian importer launching a programme to sell the seven seat Kia Carnival
to the tourism and travel industry.
"With the Carnival accounting for nearly one
in three people movers sold in Australia there is no doubt that we have changed
the face of the people mover market in Australia," says Ric Hull, Managing
Director of Kia Automotive Australia. "We now plan to show the Australian
tourism and travel industry that it is also the ideal business vehicle for
luxury hotels and resorts, car rentals and the boutique holiday package trade.
The features that have enabled it to double the sales of most of its
competitors will also ensure its success in this market sector."
The Kia Carnival is a full size people mover
with seven adult seats in a luxuriously equipped cabin. A powerful V6 engine
and a towing capacity of up to two tonnes means it is more than capable of
acting as a hotel transport vehicle. It is also ideal for car rental companies
looking for people movers, while the boutique travel package industry will find
it ideal for taking small groups on tailor made tours. But it is also the
